Nigel Winfield Sep 20 08:01:57pm I want to go on record of saying this is absolutely NOT the design of Diane Reynolds-Nash. It is a variation of the main design of the UK team of which I was the creative director and chief designer, although large credit is due to Darren Irving. This was a heavily fought-over international pitch which lasted over nine months, where our initial designs beat several UK and US agencies to win the business. But the original of this key art was done at the Picture Production Company in London, and I was there from the outset - I even personally created the title treatment. I first saw Diane's 'credit' in one of the most recent coffee-table books about Bond film art a few years ago and honestly couldn't be arsed to complain, although it infuriated me. I'm actually quite a nice guy though, ask around. Just wanted to set the record straight.
Guillaume Fox Aug 15 12:45:47pm I rate this poster 7/10, I like the characters and stills from the film reflecting off the sedgements of ice. I like how there trying to make it a-bit cartoonized by simply having an explosion in the background and bits of ice flying around, but the explosion doesn't look too realistic. The main character's postures are original, the pointing-guns is good, and the contrast between the frosted colour scheme and the explosion is done well. When I first saw this poster I always thought the ice sedgements were very realistic, the effects and poster are quality computer graphics. As posters go this certainly won't go down as a photoshop disaster!
