I have mixed feelings about this poster design. First, i think the use of mostly white, and gold colors are pretty interesting. However, it's just something about Colin Farrell's facial expression. To me he either looks like he's trying to be heroic (which fails miserably) or that he is severely constipated (of which i think he is). I know this is just a teaser, hopefully, because the IN PRODUCTION advance teaser for this flick - the one with the red flag - is so much better than this design, plus with a cooler tagline that says: FORTUNE FAVORS THE BOLD

I think this is a weak poster. It's not exciting, and it doesn't make me want to know more. I guess it just sort of blends in my mind with Troy and I don't care to differentiate.
This is the WORST poster campaign I have seen for a long time. The photoshop work is average, the layout is cluttered and the posters all lack emotion. That said, it looks exactly like a poster designed by a committee of marketeers and PR people who gave the designers too little leeway and too little time. And for that, I apologise to the designers for my comments. This artwork reeks of the meddling of a suit, who with any luck, has been asked to go find employment elsewhere.
