Unlike most posters I have seen in the past 'Collateral' is truly one of the more profound I've witnessed in a movie theatre lobby. It is very simplistic, yet very sophisticated in that there is almost an uncertainity to Tom Cruise, as he sits there looking into the oblivion with a gun in hand. Who is this man? Where has he been? What is doing? What has he done? These are questions that could or even might be brought up by someone who sees this poster, which would lead them to wonder what mysteries does this movie behold beyond its glossy image of perfection.
