This is perfect... simple, elegant, not trying too hard, but not just lazily slapping a girl on there.

the eye colour is an important part of the book actually. its what sets her apart from the others and is linked to her water sign

I think it's a beautiful picture. The blue eyes is what make it so extraordinary. The eyes are the focus point and they capture your attention because they are different.

Nice picture, but she looks nothing like a traditional geisha and her eyes are blue. Is anyone else annoyed by that?

In the book, it was popular only to do the bottom lip (or the top lip, cant remember) so shouldn't it be like that in the poster?

Good crisp close-up. Effective even though the woman in the poster's not trying to be dashing or defiant. Good color, too.

This is a stunning image of a Geisha -- more contemporary, more relaxed and more informal than the Geisha shown on the book cover. I do miss the hairpiece and dress however. The poster will definitely attract the movie crowd and readers of Arther Golden's book 'Memoirs of a Geisha'.
