Jose Deleon Jul 15 08:48:10am He seems to be the hero in the wrong place at the wrong time. The Joker and his goons burned that logo into the building to make him look like the bad guy. Or, a lot of chaos is reigning right now and the Joker placed that there to challenge him. A spectacular poster.
afzal timberlake the best movie poster ever!! 10 stars!!
--- Got to say, this poster makes Batman look more like a bad guy.
Davy Jones The setup is great. It makes the film look epic and makes Batman seem bigger then ever.
AMJH The design is great but contentwise its not good. A burning building like that doesn't come up in the movie. Also this bears a suspicious resemblance to the buildings on 911.
Antman Audience looking up on our hero and the burning building with a fiery Batman logo cut into it, just amazing, simply the best theatrical poster of the Dark Knight.
bugs absolutely freakin awsome poster just lose batman and the poster will be even sweeter
jonnysaintly one of the best posters I've seen so far this year.
Stephanie It looks as if Project Mayhem has finally hit Gotham!
E-o-t-m This is remarakble. I truly can't wait to see this movie, the posters are extremly smart and appealing....this movie looks dark and twisted...i love it!
I Disagree In reference to Pako's comment (which may have been a reference to mine) I don't think this was designed as a reference to 9/11 either. But because of the ''baggage'' out there in society re: 9/11 I don't think this poster will ever be on the level of say a poster like Silence of the Lambs which still rocks today. JMHO I think the Joker grafitti poster (the first one listed)is more creative and unique. But that's just me.
pako not with the intention to offend anyone...but i donīt think this was made as a reference to 9/11 and we shouldnīt take it like that...it just seems that everything is linked to the attacks of that day, and itīs not true
Yoel there is nothing ''dark'' about this, i hope this is just another teaser and not the official one. Anyway, the ''begins'' ones were alot better
danielle I do not agree with Mr Pink. I think that Batman, fists clenched is like him saying...''What's up punks? I'm ready for you!'' I think this rocks. You can almost hear the building crackle, burning and glass popping all around him. This is a great action poster that captured a moment that you want to jump in and be a part of. Great job. I want to find the pause button and hit play!!!
I Disagree A great poster shouldn't have distractions of things outside the movie...in this case 9/11. My previous comment re: someone hijacking the batplane and flying it into a building was made in jest, I wonder how this plays in NYC.
dogsoldier best Dark Knight poster yet, hands down
lincoln I've expressed my distaste for this poster elsewhere. The composition makes it looks like Batman is reclaiming his town by burning his symbol into the side of the building and then being like, ''Take that citizens of Gotham!''. Sends the wrong message. A bad move from a near flawless campaign so far.
twentysevenbyforty Type is a bit clunky, but beautifully crafted image - well done.
Tom Ludlow Quite possibly a contender for greatest movie poster of the year, thus far.
Netforce By far I'd say this is the best The Dark Knight poster. The flaming Bat symbol is just simply amazing!
redion86 Cool image, except the batman there looks a little...corny? If he were shrouded in more darkness, or taken out altogether as mentioned before, it might be better.
L-Phie This poster set is probably the best set ever.
harshcritik Truly a beautiful piece. Catches the feeling of the movie and is well executed.
Bitter Lemon Like it. Not as much as the teasers but pretty damn tasty.
Matt Anybody think the flaming building is a little much?
Mr. White I agree with Mr. Pink. Could have been an awesome teaser sans him in the foreground.
klm That poster has 9-11 written all over it. What a terrible choice of advertising from the many poster you have put out on this movie in the past
Pauze I don't know if it's because of the hype, but I think this is one of the best posters I've seen in awhile. I have a big feeling that The Joker pushes batman to do things he wouldn't normally do. In this case break rules of morality. Can't wait for this film! I have appreciated every aspect of their advertsing!
Jason kinda dissapointing. I was expecting more..
Really? My first impression of this poster is that it looks like the world trade center building during 9/11. I'm sorry, but it's terrible.
Stefarooh This is one of the best posters I have seen, after a full year of viewing this site this is the first time I am posting a comment, this design is truly eye catching and makes me wish July 18th was yesterday already!
danness Now THIS is how you do a blockbuster poster.
bigjfrodo That is really freaking sweet. Amazing design.
Frank Tyler Durden's Project Mayhem strikes again!
Mr Pink Woo I like it alot. I love the image of the building. The only complaint I have is that I would prefer Batman looking down, not fists clenched. Maybe he should be taken out and the poster should just be of the building. But overall, I like it.
Dutchman This burning bat-logo in the building freaking rocks. Love the angle, Batman looking down on...us.
Josiah Rizzo Amaz-za-zing! I love the color combinations! Makes me want to see the film and actually gives a hint a what the movie's about, something alot of other posters recently haven't been able to do.
