Interesting that the studio went with a retro hand-drawn looking poster to tease the movie. Vaguely recalls The Iron Giant.

That is odd, I would have expected something a little more...realistic. I'm guessing their own protoype is still 'on the drawing board'.

the poster is done by Adi Granov, an Iron Man artist who uses a digital painting technique, and was the lead Iron Man comic book artist with writer Warren Ellis until recently. His art is really amazing, and the poster is no exeption.
This poster wasn't an official one-sheet, rather just a mini version handed out at the San Diego Comic Con. Studios tend to do that, release a mini version poster to give out at the con, which some then think it is the actual movie poster. In this case, it isn't, just a promo. The only official movie poster released so far is the half-face shot that is featured here on the IMPA site.

Really great-looking drawing. Much better than the lazy half-face teaser poster.
