| | Guillermo Del Toro | 08-04-2009 04:59 [E,W] | | I'd hoped for something more spectacular.... |
| | werewolf | 08-04-2009 05:30 [E,W] | | Now aint that the best teaser yet?? |
| | James | 08-09-2009 00:38 [E,W] | | Wait, is this Avatar or the new X-Men movie? |
| | GDFace | 09-16-2009 12:26 [E,W] | Haha @ Jack.
Yeah, I'm not sure how this is supposed to help sell the movie -- looks like any generic fantasy character from any videogame. I haven't seen the poster in person yet, maybe the detail in it really sells. |

| | Mark | 08-21-2009 19:05 [E,W] | | Papyrus? Really? |
| | L-Phie | 08-04-2009 12:34 [E,W] | | Is that Michael Jackson in ''Thriller''? |
| | Duanebarry | 08-06-2009 15:58 [E,W] | | The lighting is coming from above throwing the facial features into shadow, The top lip is so in shadow it's causing her to have a ''trout pout'' and it's also accentuating the cheek bones too much as the guy said earlier ''RIchard Ramirez'' and he is right. Light it a bit from the left or front left as if there was a fill light. |
| | Duanebarry | 08-06-2009 15:46 [E,W] | | Nice Richard Ramirez comment - The Navi are being billed as beautiful - This thing looks ugly! Uninspired - dosnt stir interest. I wonder how it will work on people who never knew about the projects oft mooted development and that it's Camerons project. I dont like it - It needs a big 80's style collage poster with snippets of action but I guess that will come later. James Cameron's name NEED'S to be on the advance posters - It should be in 1:85:1 scope ratio and show blue stars in syrupy black space and mabey part of the planet or the Navi's head fading into view on the right - and a much more regal and dreamy expression on her face then this and softer more trusting eyes. Are they not supposed to be benevolent beings with the humans as merauders? Build empathy and fondness for the character so that we will care when they are all slaughtered and we hate the humans - that's the trick guys! |
