I kind of think this poster would be better served without Jason in it. Leave it with just sort of a creepy emptiness. Or put him far off in the distance somewhere so that it feels like HE is watching YOU and not the other way around.

The new poster is just Jason but still scary and cool; imagine seeing him in the woods at night.

Personally I love this. Granted it's not the best poster, but it does a good job of capturing the creepiness and mysteriousness that is Jason Voorhees.

I like the composition as well... I think it's just a good, classic horror image. And I think if I saw Jason coming out of the trees looking like that, well, it might make me pee just a bit.

actually I rethought it and Horror Fan is right...let's just go ahead and make the thing black and white...or actually maybe just black if we can. Also can we put a spider in Jasons free hand...I think spiders are scary...oh and keep the trees how they are, don't worry that they are shot lower than Jason, apparently that's whats working here.

just like the first one, too clean/elegant glossy and ''nicely'' designed. There is nothing wrong with it, but there is nothing really right about it either. Maybe I am too big a fan of the original movie and the original poster which was a classic and nailed it.

this is almost perfect. my complaint is the fact that the angle of the trees makes it look like jason is about to fall over. the neck is like a mile long, and the angle of the mask is off. in short, jason looks more like a pro-wrestler than a killer. other than that, great poster. cant wait for the movie

A very simple poster for Friday The 13th. All the other ones were stupid like for Part Three, where Jason's Machette went through the screen. That was just awful. But when I saw this, i was concerned with the fact that Jason is really not that scary. If you saw the new trailer, you would be suprised how scary he looks than this poster. A MAJOR DIFFERENCE. Overall, it's just OKAY!
