The Informant
Since the poster for The 40-Year-Old Virgin came out in 2005 we have had numerous takes on the same basic concept. This one benefits a great deal from the fact that we normally don't see Matt Damon looking so goofy. But what really makes the poster funny is the "shocking" tag line that can't believe he's the informant. |

It's Complicated
This poster is basically a role reversal of one of the memorable scenes from When Harry Met Sally... but the expressions on their faces make it quite hilarious. |
|
The Men Who Stare at Goats
Remove the goat from the poster and there would be nothing special about this design. But the addition of the goat, along with a credit for "Goat" alongside all the big name actors, turns this from a mundane serious drama into something completely different. |

Monsters vs. Aliens
B.O.B. is perhaps the funniest part of the film. He doesn't even need to speak, he is just funny to look at and a perfect subject for the poster. Depending on your fondness for puns, the tag line may either be the best or worst of the year. |

Up
Although this poster may not be laugh out loud hilarious, there is something quite funny about the casual expression on Carl's face as he dangles helplessly from the end of a hose. |
