I believe this idea could have been executed a little different to illustrate more of a tease. The lighting on this should have been done where the highlights make the contour of the face and not have to rely solely on the all the midtone information. Midtones can go darker to create the same dark sinister feel to the piece.

No concept. Photoshop work is fine, but theres nothing intriguing or visually stunning about this. Juxtaposition - none. Would not convince me to see the movie.

Terminator 1-3 has got Arnie face. This one doesn't. Lacking that special feeling.

For those of you who don't like this poster, rest assure, it is NOT an official theatrical movie poster. This was simply the promotional image used on the marketing campaign at this past summer's San Diego Comic Con. The first official movie poster image was just released last week and can be found here on the IMPA site, however, the image of it is of the International style, the U.S. style has the film's date on it, the International states Coming Soon as pictured.

The Terminator series is a dinosaur and this stale and weirdly outdated workup only confirms it. I'm not trying to be mean, but is this an actual poster? It looks like fan art to me.

I hate this kind of poster. Just put it quickly through photoshop. It seems like people no longer appreciate the illustration. I think most of the movieposters published these days are too much photoshop and collage.

I think it looks awful. It has this ''hey it's a new gore movie with some mechanic thing doing the killing''. I expected much more from the Terminator's first poster.
