No one has mentioned the shallow depth-of-field? A super-nice touch if you ask me, so often overlooked since it seems most designers aren't photographers. Gives it a real ''artsy'' feel that you expect out of an Aronfsky film.

It was actually a slightly different poster before. They must have done a retouch on it and posted the newer version. This is what it used to look like:

@mcnugget
Semi-decent but crappy execution -- what does that mean?!
@Rigg
That's the exact same poster -- the only difference (and it's not an intentional one) is that the image on that site is a little desaturated.

I think this poster is very beautiful! It's a bit eerie, but it's very nice.

there is nothing crappy about this execution - I have just unpacked this poster at my cinema, and it is sublime! The way her body fades into the whiteness (or forces its way through it; depending on how you see it)is stunning! It is the whiteness which makes the eyes, lips and make up stand out actually - black background would have been just ineffective... it is about the GOOD GONE BAD after all.

Interesting yet disturbing. I like it.
Can't wait for it.

I like this one more: http://www.imdb.com/media/rm1854767360/tt0947798. There are very small differences that make it a lot better.

Interesting - great image. But I wish the background wasn't just plain white. A dark color would've been better to contrast the whiteness of Portman's face.

It's interesting, but it certainly doesn't make me want to see the movie.
mcnugget
semi-decent. but crappy execution.
Mee
the poster kinda creeps me out.
Blake
Interesting, reminds me of Mephisto.

That's just beautiful. Delicate and a little scary, like the film seems to be.
