really?!? @nightmareglove...are you associated with Ignition? This is the best you have seen? The photoshop work is terrible. Layout is boring. If there is anything successful about this poster, it is that it succeeded to look like a cheesy, uninspired, and boring old poster.

one word. NO! looks like cheap dvd art. I understand
freddy should be the focus and not her, but that doesn't explain why the walls don't follow the same focal point. And the whole thing is too monochromatic. I suspect this movie to be visually insane, the poster is beyond dull.

As a big fan of the ORIGINAL movie and poster. I have
to say this is a misfire. It looks like cheap dvd
art. I understand that he is the focus and she is out
of focus, but that doesn't explain the unfocused hall
by him and the colors are really flat. I hope this movie to be imaginative, visually inventive and clever (although michael bay movies err on the side of obvious over clever) but this poster comes across as if there were only 2 photos and they had to be put together for a flyer. Disappointing. The teaser was good, although I half expected the payoff to give a bit more than a repositioning of the teaser (although in truth, isn't that all this movie is to begin with)

Has anyone seen these bus shelters all over town. They are so dark, and it looks like he is growing a black dress out of his legs. The design is terrible for outdoor. Whatever client approved this, should be hung out to dry.
