the hour glass representation is just beautifully simple! i didnt notice it at first but when i did it just blew me away. i also really like the way that everything in it doesnt actually look real. it makes us second guess the fact that it is real, almost like Aron's story, we second guess whether or not it is true.

I didn't notice the hourglass shape at first, really cool! The horizon and sunset ressemble the sand... and it looks like he's trying his best to stop from falling into the bottom of the ''hourglass'' - what a great way to visualize the ''race against time.''

Anytime somebody uses the word ''Photoshopped'' in a critique of a poster you immediately know two things: they are not a designer, and they have no idea what they are talking about.

A nice, but disappointing poster considering how ripe the opportunity for an unbelievable poster there is by shooting in the Utah Rockies. Many of the elements appear Photoshopped and the naturalistic photography from the film isn't incorporated into the one sheet design. It's another reminder that fimmaking is a business and not an art form as viewed by corporations. Thanks for the reminder.

I find this poster both really off putting and awesome at the same time. I like the composition a lot, but the blurred vision seems weird to me for some reason. The colors are really awesome though. That boulder under James Franco's character just looks like a giant walnut.
