JJJ Nov 06 02:01:02pm Nice work Tom, love the work! Flash back to some classic poster work. Let me know where I can buy a copy...
Nix Nov 01 09:03:30pm I want one!
b_sting Nov 03 02:08:20pm So there is a lot of 'the bottom of your foot' put into this? I believe you mean soul, dude. Also, I agree with bev, the studios end up choosing the poster that they 'request' the shop to execute and not one of the hundreds of great conceptual pieces of art that are presented.
Oldie Nov 03 01:33:55am Well said dude. Apocally, designers don't determine what gets seen, the studio execs do. If we were given free reign there would be alot more original looking work out there. That being said, like the throw back feel of this one. Scared though that the eighties thing is getting a little kitchy, a little overdone.
bev Nov 02 03:05:53pm nice work Tom, but big studios won't let us get away with this kind of work for their big budget investments. it's not that we don't try on every occasion. the market defines the end result. don't discount digital designers as not working as hard if not harder. the hard work and the talent exists.
soul brother no 1 Nov 02 01:43:28am Tom Hodge is that DUDE! Keep it coming.
Nix Nov 01 09:03:30pm I want one!
dude Nov 01 06:30:12pm Trust me Apocally there's a lot of sole put into these posters man! I'm a one man poster making business trying to have an impact on a big industry and make a difference with the way mass produced poster art is treated, actually trying to inject some care, passion and attention to detail that's sadly lack in a lot of today's digital designs, then hopefully bring back some of that lost magic of the movie poster we all used to remember and love.
??? Nov 01 06:39:51pm The execution is pretty good but why would you paint over a montage of unit shots to help sell a movie concept? Oh, wait... this movie has no concept.
robbyrobs Nov 01 05:54:24pm I swear Tom Hodge is the man
daniel Nov 01 05:11:29pm …nice…
Apocally Nov 01 04:30:45pm As well done as these new exploitation posters are, they still feel like imitations of the real thing and ultimately lacking imagination since they pretty much all look the same.
red Nov 01 02:28:42pm a bit degrading towards women....image tells all!
Rex Nov 01 01:47:03pm That´s very creepy, man!
