Drive
A great introduction to Ryan Gosling's character, looking larger than life thanks to the camera angle. Very reminiscent of Steve McQueen which, given the film's basic plot, is perfectly appropriate.
Final Destination 5
Death comes for the fifth time. A simple, memorable image to capture the idea. With so few series making it to a part five, the film's title was not even necessary (aside from the small URL at the bottom).
The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo
Being most people's first introduction to the film, this poster gives them a great idea of the dark tone of the storyline and their first glimpse of the unorthodox title character.
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2
The stage is set for the final showdown between Harry and Voldemort. That's all anyone really needs to know about the final film of the Potter series.
The Rum Diary
Great use of tiny rum bottles to spell out the film's title while the tagline spells out the rest.
Unnati Jan 18 03:46:09am i think out of these only final destination looks like a teaser. so guess tht shud b the one.
pinoyrebyu.livejournal.com Jan 18 12:40:01am it's HALLOWS, not hollows.. anyway.. can't decide between HP, DragonTattoo and Drive..
HomerSimpson Jan 17 07:04:11pm Harry Potter FTW!
sophia Jan 17 05:22:57pm Final Destination 5
Squirrel Jan 17 03:37:14pm Rum Diary is just a wee bit reminescent of Eat Pray Love, no? And I can't really support Final Destination... what exactly is "memorable" about it? Drive deserves recognition, but this may be the wrong category.
Sheila Jan 17 01:20:00pm People like to pretend that a lot of people never saw Girl with the dragon tattoos first movie, they're wrong, it got rented out a lot.
Bill Jan 17 01:10:18pm I'm a little confused by these selections. Drive poster is pretty dull. The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo poster is the same one nominated for best poster (can it be in both categories?). Harry Potter poster is standard issue face-off layout. The Rum Diary is a rip-off of Eat Pray Love. Final Destination 5 poster is the only valid entry here.
Mel Jan 17 11:43:08am Bytheway, I think Young Adult should be around this category. http://www.impawards.com/2011/young_adult.
