mikeburg
am i the only one to notice that is jack sparrows skull?
shortchop
boondock actually brings up a fair point there. there was no beard in the other skull teasers. so could it be that jack DOES reach the fountain of youth...?? that he does gain immortality...??
Dr. Zoid
Why would they use the same teaser they used for the first two films, couldn't they come up with anything new?
Boondock
the beard is the same as jack sparrows...as in the skull is his

I agree with shortchop.
shmyah

Pirates of the Caribbean: Kingdom of the Crystal Skull!
IllusionOfLife
Uh-oh. A big, shiny skull in the center of the poster for the fourth installment in a series… I'm having terrible flashbacks to a certain Lucas/Spielberg movie from two years ago.
Reliving traumatic moments aside, it's a decent poster. The metal skull is an interesting twist; it'll be interesting to see where they go with this campaign.
Manjunath Shevgoor
No skin, no flesh.. yet the skull's got a beard :)
Garfield
Terminator? LOL!
Woah
Woah, how creative...

Maybe Long John Silver from Treasure Island will be in this
shortchop
maybe the silver skull is supposed to represent the ''lack of death'', the whole fountain of youth idea, whereas the bone skull is dieing and decaying.
Dark Prince
Intriguing... at first I thought it was exactly the same as the skull used in the teasers for Curse of the Black Pearl -- but then I noticed that it was made of silver. Hmmm. Can't wait to find out the significance of that!
