meh May 21 03:18:54am what studio picked doesn't mean that it's good art. Come on you all, don't kid yourself for getting a "finish". With 200 comps in the first round and they go with this? I don't mind this poster at all but it's just too typical - all casts with generic background.
cough blowj cough May 10 12:35:40am Checkboard floors were one of Burton's "always creative" touches in batman! Its 23 years later and he gets praised for recycling his already paper thin style? and yes that is a poster complaint as people's praising of tim burton's direction tend to be more about the movie's advertised asthetic.
benitodelicias Mar 24 07:52:14pm until they change the logo for this thing, it'll never look good. I don't mind the colors that much, it's that horrible logo what bothers me the most.
Waqas Mar 22 12:45:33pm Gives me Adam's Family feel. Dont know why!
Needs Sparks Mar 21 04:44:09pm The poster is missing red sparks at the bottom.
Clever Screen Name Mar 20 06:06:11pm Has Tim Burton lost his freakin' mind?
Johnny3Tears Mar 18 10:51:39pm Colors are WAAAAYY too distracting.
Chuchu Mar 18 08:55:19pm Is is me, or does the woman with the orange hair look like Nicki Minaj? I honestly thought this was a poster for those utterly terrible 'spoof' movies...
Michael Jackson Mar 17 05:51:42pm This is just goofy.cartoonish.i mean, have some dignity. It's too similar to Alice in Wonderland(typical Burton). Tim Burton's other horror movies are stylistic different than his normal pattern happy asthetics.and all the better for it.Just look at Ed Wood or Sleepy Hollow.
Dr. Zoid Mar 17 11:29:07am I just saw the trailer, and I didn't realize it was suppose to be a comedy. Even so, this poster is just lazy and unimaginative. The colors really don't go together at all.
Hrm... Mar 16 05:17:05pm Looks washed out. I see that the skin is desaturated but it would be nice if there was richness in tone of the skin. The skin is so blown out it looks like flat paper.
Bill Mar 16 02:46:17pm Is that all Burton can do anymore is over art directed remakes of old TV shows and movies? And of coarse Elfman and Depp are always happy to be on board. I'm so over it. As for the poster, it more of "let's give the people what they expect and not work too hard at it". Yawn.
Color Mar 16 01:12:28pm The colors are terrible, the purple gradient in the back, gasp!
Leilu2k Mar 16 11:50:08am A lot of people seem to be harping on the coloring. But keep in mind that the original series was was done in a bright mod, Technicolor style despite being a spooky show. I think it's an interesting homage.
TB Mar 16 11:05:31am Such a wasted opportunity for a great poster. Bad photoshop. Bad coloring. Bad logo. Bad composition. Other than that, I love it!
Sanders Mar 16 04:03:42am Far too crowded
Ryan Mar 16 12:03:50am I would like this if not for the fact that everybody who isn't Depp shouldn't be pale. They aren't vampires! Google the normal cast picture for this movie and see that they look creepy, but normal. Same with the trailer. If they had kept them normal, this might have had a spot on my wall one day
Clark Bran Mar 15 11:10:24pm My first thought was Scooby Doo and I'm not exactly sure why.
Bunny Mar 15 10:59:36pm Awesome poster design.
dmc Mar 15 10:49:13pm Color in-corrected. Not digging this at all. Would like to see a lot less Munsters, Addams Family.
Rex the mechanic Mar 15 09:19:31pm It looks like a cartoon...
