what studio picked doesn't mean that it's good art. Come on you all, don't kid yourself for getting a "finish". With 200 comps in the first round and they go with this? I don't mind this poster at all but it's just too typical - all casts with generic background.

Checkboard floors were one of Burton's "always creative" touches in batman! Its 23 years later and he gets praised for recycling his already paper thin style?
and yes that is a poster complaint as people's praising of tim burton's direction tend to be more about the movie's advertised asthetic.

This is just goofy.cartoonish.i mean,have some dignity.It's too similar to Alice in Wonderland(typical Burton). Tim Burton's other horror movies are stylistic different than his normal pattern happy asthetics.and all the better for it.Just look at Ed Wood or Sleepy Hollow.

I just saw the trailer, and I didn't realize it was suppose to be a comedy. Even so, this poster is just lazy and unimaginative. The colors really don't go together at all.

Looks washed out. I see that the skin is desaturated but it would be nice if there was richness in tone of the skin. The skin is so blown out it looks like flat paper.

Is that all Burton can do anymore is over art directed remakes of old TV shows and movies? And of coarse Elfman and Depp are always happy to be on board. I'm so over it. As for the poster, it more of "let's give the people what they expect and not work too hard at it". Yawn.

A lot of people seem to be harping on the coloring. But keep in mind that the original series was was done in a bright mod, Technicolor style despite being a spooky show. I think it's an interesting homage.

I would like this if not for the fact that everybody who isn't Depp shouldn't be pale. They aren't vampires! Google the normal cast picture for this movie and see that they look creepy, but normal. Same with the trailer. If they had kept them normal, this might have had a spot on my wall one day
