If he looked like he was actually going on an adventure rather than to bring the washing in it might actually be telling a story. Its beautiful lovely retouching but bland. Lets be honest, its not a great concept anyway.

As all Warnerbros concept (MGM) this is Very good like Batman and all new concept posters Simple teasing and it looks like the first artworks
that have been used in Lord of the rings Campaign the one posters with the Studding Photography of Holding the ring ( used as Calendar)
Better that the copositing posters this one is more Mature!

Absolutely STUNNING. Nostalgic, heartwarming and conveys a very important aspect of the movie. A Hobbit coming out of his home, ready to stumble into a great adventure in Middle Earth.
