The puzzle box poster for Cabin In The Woods gives a very subtle hint to the new approach to the genre and was very intriguing. The use of the iconic Pyramid Head worked well for the new Silent Hill. The pyramid of piranhas in the sequel to Piranha 3D was a really impressive image. From the sound of it they could have used more creativity like that making the movie itself. The hand coming out of the girls throat in the poster for The Possession is a really clever image and really gives you the creeps just looking at it. The Detention poster sums up the pure fun of that film. Perhaps I'm letting my love for the film guide my choice, but what the heck. The intentionally derivative Cinderhella is represented through a smudged ink mark in a scrap book. Great idea.
