Mars Sep 25 03:09:32pm Most art directors could run laps around your average art school grad looking to change the world with a movie poster. It's not that the art directors lack talent or creativity its the studios marketing execs who are too afraid to try something new and think Americans are too stupid to accept an original idea. Don't blame the artist he/she simply tries to sell what the client usually buys and if you look at the links below this is exactly what the client wants to buy. They play it safe and go with what always works.

shekwanda Sep 25 08:47:17am Even though the image took more than usual to load, I just knew it was going to be a Smurf with two fingers up. How could it not be?

bleeker Sep 24 08:14:16pm This is so original an idea I can barely stand it! This is why Ad agencies throughout LA should continue to purge all their expensive Art Directors and utilize the hip fresh talent graduating from local Art schools - authentic scions who thirst to redefine the medium with their boundless youthful verve - unfettered by all that cliche producing (ugh) experience.
