[Jan 31, 2006 11:15pm]
From LatinoReview
comes the poster for The Break-Up starring Vince
Vaughn and Jennifer Aniston.
It's the second time in as many days that a new poster has featured duct
tape. It must be on sale...
New Wild, Int'l Failure to Launch, Tiny Mamma
[Jan 31, 2006 5:50pm]
From MovieGoods
comes the new poster for The Wild. This time, only the tag line
has changed. Also, thanks to 'Eriol' for passing along the German poster
for Failure to Launch and a small Latin American poster for Big
Momma's House 2.
Big Mamma 2, Loverboy, Tenants
[Jan 31, 2006 5:50pm]
Those with a weak stomach may want to avoid checking out the French
poster (courtesy of actuacine.net)
for Big Mamma's House 2. Also, thanks to Luis for passing along
two posters for the Kevin Bacon directed film Loverboy. Finally,
from Greenlight
Designs comes the teaser poster for The Tenants starring Snoop
Dogg and Dylan McDermott.
Alpha Dog
[Jan 30, 2006 6:30pm]
Thanks to Greg for passing along the poster for Alpha Dog.
New Firewall Poster
[Jan 30, 2006 1:30pm]
From EstoEsCine.com
we have the latest poster for Firewall. Harrison Ford's family from
the first poster has been replaced by bad guy Paul Bettany along with a
smaller image that is a little reminiscent of Paycheck.
[Thanks
to Luis for the heads up.] Meanwhile, after yesterday's web
site problems, all seems well once again but we'll be keeping a close eye
on things.
Web Site Problems
[Jan 29, 2006 10:20pm]
The IMP would like to apologize for problems going on with the site
at the moment. We hope to have them remedied shortly. If pages are loading
especially slow or occasionally failing, please have patience. The problems
will be fixed as soon as possible.
Le Nouveau Monde
[Jan 28, 2006 3:15pm]
Thanks to Cinempire
for passing along two more French posters for The New World.
Scary Movie 4
[Jan 28, 2006 2:25am]
The folks at RopeofSilicon.com
have a look at the final poster for Scary Movie 4 and you can check
it out over at their site. It is missing a rating and the credits are just
gibberish (directed by "Emcvnef Dhbusj") so it still may not be the final
draft of the artwork, but feel free to check it out. [Thanks
to Iain for the heads up.] NOTE: This poster has since been replaced with the proper version.
TransScandinavia
[Jan 26, 2006 3:50pm]
From Nordisk
Film comes the Danish poster for Transamerica, which merges
artwork from the two US versions of the poster. Also, in case you haven't
noticed, the remaining actors (T-Z) were added to the actors
directory last night. If your favorite actor / actress is not listed,
drop
us a line and we will see about adding them.
Open Season, Secret Life, Devil, more...
[Jan 25, 2006 1:20pm]

critters. [Thanks to Luis for the heads
up.] Also, from Movie
Jungle comes a small poster for The Secret Life of Words starring

Daniel Johnston.

Season. Finally, we have the poster for Game 6 starring Michael
Keaton and Robert Downey, Jr.
Dating and Walking in the UK
[Jan 24, 2006 2:45pm]
From Movieweb
comes the raunchy UK quad for Date Movie. Its humor may be pretty
low-brow but it seems perfectly suited to the movie its promoting. Also,
there's the lovely new banner for Walk the Line. [Thanks
to Luis for the heads up.]
Madea as Marilyn Monroe
[Jan 23, 2006 1:25pm]
Couldn't help but laugh out loud after seeing the brand new poster
for Madea's Family Reunion. If you are going to put Madea's scary
mug on a poster, you might as well do it with humor. For anyone not familar
with this poster's inspiration, it comes from a series of colorful portraits
of Marilyn Monroe by Andy Warhol.
Silent Hill
[Jan 23, 2006 5:00am]
On Friday, this creepy Silent Hill poster with the mouthless
girl began popping up. It seemed like an odd coincidence that a new poster
would appear just before the announcement of the top five picks of the
poster
contest for the movie. However, after having about a dozen people pass
along the image (not to mention seeing the artwork on the official site)
we will assume that it is indeed legitimate. Thanks to everyone who emailed
us about it. Always appreciated.
Basic Instinct 2, Ultraviolet
[Jan 22, 2006 12:05am]
Thanks to Dale for passing along a shot of the new poster for Basic
Instinct 2 which is up for sale on eBay.
It's actually a pretty good design. Lots of details. Sharon Stone in her
signature pose (of course), the cigarette ashes on the floor, the reflection
of the man in the shattered mirrors, the hand in the foreground... Will
need to see a better picture to tell if there's an ice pick on the counter
or not. Also, although the artwork has been kicking around for some time,
we've finally got a look at the poster (with tagline and credits) for Ultraviolet.
[Jan 21, 2006 3:45am]
Last week we added a page to let you browse posters by director.
Now we are working on doing the same for actors and actresses. Currently
we only have a sampling of them from A to G but feel free to check
it out. We will continue adding to it over the next few days.
[Jan 19, 2006 4:00pm]

Liv Tyler and Casey Affleck. Finally, from actuacine.net

Yesterday, five brand new (missing) character posters for The
Brick
premiered on five different web sites: Coming
Soon, JoBlo, Movieweb,

It Cool News, and CHUD.

[Jan 18, 2006 8:10pm]

not final) poster for Cake starring Heather Graham, the one sheet

Indian. Finally, thanks to Mike Markus for passing along another poster
for Ice Age 2: The Meltdown.

[Jan 15, 2006 12:40am]
From Fox Searchlight
comes the latest poster for Deepa Metha's Water. Also, thanks to
Cinempire
for passing along posters for Down in the Valley featuring Edward
Norton and
The King. Both films should be receiving US releases
soon.
Akeelah and the Bee, Chromophobia, BI:2...
[Jan 13, 2006 1:25pm]
To begin this Friday the 13th we have the brand new poster for Akeelah
and the Bee starring Keke Palmer, Laurence Fishburne, and Angela Bassett.

basically the same as the first design but with money flying out of Jim
Carrey's pockets.
Underworld: Evolution
[Jan 12, 2006 9:45pm]
Thanks to Simon for passing along the new one sheet for Underworld:
Evolution. Gotta love those eyes.
[Jan 12, 2006 9:45pm]
If you have checked out the directors section of the site any time
over the last few years you probably laughed at our "exhaustive"database
which contained a whopping six directors. The IMP finally got around to
fixing it up a bit and now you can peruse the posters of many of your favorite
film directors over at the Directors Page.
It is nowhere near complete, but we're working on it. The IMP would love
to hear any comments or suggestions.
Int'l Walk the Line, Ice Age 2
[Jan 12, 2006 1:30pm]
From EstoEsCine.com
comes an international poster for Walk the Line. Also, from movieposterdb
and actuacine.net
comes the artwork for what may be the latest poster for Ice Age 2: The
Meltdown.
American Dreamz and Heart of Gold
[Jan 11, 2006 12:10pm]
From JoBlo.com comes
the first poster for Paul Weitz's satire American Dreamz starring
Hugh Grant, Dennis Quaid, Mandy Moore, and Willem Dafoe. Also, from Empire
Movies comes Neil Young: Heart of Gold.
London Poster
[Jan 10, 2006 1:15pm]
From blackfilm.com
comes the poster for London. Nice use of lines of cocaine to spell
out the film's title.
Hard Candy
[Jan 6, 2006 5:50pm]
We just received the great new poster for Hard Candy. Looks
like this girl in the red hood won't be helpless against any wolves. But,
then again, she doesn't look all that safe herself. Certainly a poster
that makes you want to know what the film is about.
Running Scared
[Jan 5, 2006 12:55pm]
From IGN Filmforce
comes the poster for Running Scared starring Paul Walker. Interesting
how the bad guys seem to be represented by comic book caricatures. [Thanks
to Mike Markus for the heads up.]
Madea's Family Reunion
[Jan 4, 2006 8:30pm]
From Lions Gate Films
comes the latest poster for Madea's Family Reunion. Also, check
out posterwire.com
for their pick of the best movie poster of 2005. (And, if you haven't done
so already, drop by the IMP
Forums for everyone's choices for the best and worst of the year.)

[Jan 4, 2006 6:05pm]
From Bloody-Disgusting.com
comes the poster for the Sundance release of the horror film Salvage.
Also, from Apple
Movie Trailers comes the one sheet for Thank You For Smoking
and from ComingSoon.net

to Mike Markus for the heads up.] Oh, and we've added a few
more jigsaw posters if anyone is interested.
Any Jigsaw Puzzle Addicts Out There?
[Jan 3, 2006 9:15pm]
Just for fun we have added a Jigsaw Poster page to the site. (Upper
left, if you didn't notice it already.) You will find memorable
movie posters cut up into jigsaw puzzles so that you can drive yourself
nuts putting them back together. Just a few for starters, which you can
try at one of three difficulty levels. More will be added over the next
few days. The IMP would love to hear any comments
of suggestions.
Int'l King Kong, Libertine
[Jan 3, 2006 11:15am]
From EstoEsCine.com
comes new international posters for King Kong and The Libertine.
[Thanks
to Luis for the heads up.]
A Few Belated Updates
[Jan 2, 2006 4:05pm]

like to apologize for the lack of poster updates. So today we have a whole
bunch of recent additions. From Bloody-Disgusting.com
comes the poster for The Breed. Thanks to Mike Markus for passing
along the posters for She's the Man, Why We Fight, and the
French film The Intruder. Finally, from movieposterdb
comes the French poster for Chaos.
