[October 27, 2006 9:00pm]

that just happens to bear a striking resemblance to the poster for another
National Lampoon's film: Vacation.
Meet the Robinsons, Starter for 10
[October 27, 2006 4:30pm]
From IESB.net comes
the brand new poster for Meet the Robinsons. Quite the oddball collection
of characters. I especially like the "pet" named Tiny who is lurking out
of frame at the top. The frog in the bottom right is reminiscent of the
poster for The Incredibles.
Can anyone think of other designs that have used the gimmick of a character
peeking out from behind the poster? Also, thanks to IONCINEMA
for sending us the poster for Starter for 10 which is coming out
in the UK next month and in the US in February. Just don't try to figure
out what (or who) the girl on the left is looking at.

[October 27, 2006 3:20pm]
Finally, from movieposter.com

and Unnatural and Accidental. Oh, and in case you didn't notice,
we've just added a new way to browse posters alphabetically

for.
Daddy's Little Girls
[October 26, 2006 3:20pm]

Family Reunion and Diary
of a Mad Black Woman.

Dark Horrorfest which takes place in November featuring "8 films
to die for".
French Deja Vu
[October 24, 2006 2:55pm]
From cinempire
comes a French poster for Deja Vu. [Thanks
to Luis] Kind of funny that this design would have a definition
of the title, explaining to French movie goers what deja vu means.
Tenacious D, Joy Division, Trust the Man
[October 24, 2006 1:15pm]
Thanks to Luis for passing along the rather frightening but hilarious
new poster for Tenacious D in the Pick of Destiny from M&C
Movies. Also, we have the the UK quad for Joy Division

The folks over at FirstShowing.net
are giving away several copies of both of the above posters. Just
drop on over to their site and see how you can be eligible to win one.
F-Word, Surf's Up Character Posters
[October 23, 2006 12:55pm]
How do you advertise a film when its title is a curse word? The first
poster changed the U to a star, the second
one masked the word by hiding some of the letters within an animated face,
and now we have the "clean" version of the poster with the hard to pronounce
title of "****". That's one way to guarantee you have a four star movie.
Also, we have three character posters for Surf's Up. Gotta love
that spaced-out looking surfer chicken. [Thanks
to Luis and movieweb
for the posters.]
Illusionist, Black Dahlia
[October 22, 2006 5:55pm]

Thanks to FilmListen.no,
dvdhaber.com,
and Jason for passing along the final international poster for Casino
Royale. Next, from blackfilm
and movieweb, comes
the artwork for the Stomp the Yard poster. From Poemkiat comes the
Thai poster for Crank (which manages to incorporate the skewered
heart from an earlier version). Finally,
we have the UK quad for Bobby which emphasizes the enormous star
power. Oddly enough, we have 24 actors listed along with a tag line referring
to "22 lives linked by a moment..."
Venus, Come Early Morning
[October 19, 2006 3:15am]
Today we have small posters for Venus (from Apple

and, finally, from MovieMax
World comes another poster for Man About Town.

The
Holiday. Thanks to zim for passing along an internationl poster for
The
Guardian from MovieMax
World. Finally, from Apple

So
Goes the Nation.
Behind Forgotten Eyes, Dreamgirls,Turistas, Gridiron

Eyes. Also, thanks to big_red737 for passing along new posters for
Dreamgirls,
Turistas,
and Gridiron Gang from movieposter.com.
Death of a President, The Hoax, Beethoven
[October 13, 2006 12:45am]
From movieposter.com
comes an advance poster for Death of a President. Definitely a poster
that would provoke a lot of controversy. [Thanks
to big_red737 for the heads up.] Also, thanks to Luis for

From summermovieblog

what one of the secret incredients in the poster's red ink was. [Thanks
to Mike Markus and Will for the heads up.] Also, from animated-news.com

for passing along the new poster for Alpha Dog from JoBlo.

Thanks to Mike Markus for passing along the new poster for Rocky
Balboa from IGN
FilmForce as well as two more international posters for Pan's Labyrinth.
Shut Up and Sing, Blood Diamond, Covenant, Alibi
[October 6, 2006 9:45pm]
First of all we have a small poster for the Dixie Chicks documentary
Shut
Up and Sing. It is based on the Entertainment Weekly cover
that featured the band back in 2003. They are more covered up here than
in the original cover (and Dixie Sluts was changed to Dixie Bimbos), but
adding George Bush as the guy who's been writing on them is a hilarious
touch. [Thanks to Luis, IONCINEMA
, and MovieJungle
for passing it along.] Also, from Hargon comes a low quality
shot of the first poster for Ed Zwick's Blood Diamond. A very simple
but effective image. Next we have two international posters for The
Covenant and, finally, thank to topp5.is
for sending along another poster for The Alibi.
Alatriste, Harsh Times, Pan's Labyrinth
[October 6, 2006 9:45pm]

to Luis for passing it along.]
Unknown, Deja Vu, Snow Cake
[October 4, 2006 5:05pm]
Today we have a look at the poster for the movie Unknown. Just
a typical shot of a bunch of guys watching a woman in a short skirt walk
by. However, it looks like two of the men are dead and there's a gun on
the ground, not to mention the guy to the side apparently bound to a chair.
Quite intriguing. Makes one wonder what this woman is doing there. Also,
from summermovieblog
comes the poster for Deja Vu [thanks
to Mike Markus for the heads up] and finally thanks to Julian
for sending us the German poster for Snow Cake.
Broken Bridges
[October 4, 2006 12:05am]

Also from the film's myspace
site comes the new poster for El Cortez. [Thanks
to Luis for passing these along.] Also, we have the quad
for Havoc which is just being released in the UK. Looks like they
were wanting to make it obvious that Anne Hathaway has a nude scene in
the film.
Cocaine Cowboys, Made in Jamaica
[October 3, 2006 8:45pm]
Thanks to Luis for passing along posters for the documentaries Cocaine
Cowboys and Made in Jamaica.
Ghost Rider
[October 3, 2006 3:10am]
Thanks to Mike Markus for passing along the new poster for Ghost
Rider from Moviefone's summermovieblog.
Too much emphasis on the big faces and not enough on the rest. If the poster
had simply been of the lower half it would have been much better. Chop
the top off, turn it into a quad and then we'd have something memorable.
Of course then one might argue that it looks a bit too much like one of
the posters for Batman Begins.
Int'l Crank
[October 2, 2006 5:20pm]
Today we have a new international poster for Crank. Also, we
continue to slowly build our meagre collection of posters for other countries.

films and for any Bollywood fans out there we've started a section
for East Indian posters as
well.
Grudge 2, Flushed Away
[October 1, 2006 7:30pm]
From cine21.com
comes a Korean poster for Grudge 2. Also, we have another poster
for Flushed Away. Finally, drop on over to AICN
to check out a supposed promotional poster for 2008's Knight Rider
movie. Probably just someone's fan art, but worth a peek. [Thanks
to Mike Markus for the heads up.]
Saw Posters vs. Red Cross
external link opens in new window
[October 1, 2006 7:30pm]
It looks like the Saw posters are in trouble once again. Drop on over
to posterwire.com
to check out how the Red Cross was not pleased with their logo being used
in the Saw III Blood Drive posters.
