2012 IMP Awards - Best Teaser Movie Poster Nominees

The Amazing Spider-Man
The shadows might not make a lot of sense from a logical standpoint but it is still a very cool looking design for the reboot of the Spider-man films.
The Dark Knight Rises
Batman rises, and seems to take out a lot of buildings on his way up. Memorable teaser for the third film in the series, though some people still insist that they see a unicorn instead of a bat in the wreckage.
Django Unchained
For many, just the words "new film by Quentin Tarantino" would've been enough but this minimalist Saul Bass inspired artwork sets the tone nicely.
The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey
The familiar round door of a hobbit home immediately takes us back to the world of Middle Earth as we see our hero taking the first step on his unexpected journey. A great introduction to the new trilogy.
Snow White and the Huntsman
The villains are often the most memorable part of fairy tales and this teaser wisely focuses on Charlize Theron's Evil Queen character. With artwork inspired by Wieslaw Rosocha we get a very eerie image and a hint at the queen's connection to crows.
Wreck-It Ralph
The low res graphic of the film's hero immediately takes people back to the "good ole days" of video games. Although a lot of younger kids might not understand the signifigance of the graphic style, their parents certainly will.
